If you are a caregiver to someone living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, at times you may feel isolated in the cycle of care. There are others within our community facing the same challenges. Our Memory Care Support Group was created as a gathering place for you and others like you. This supportive group of people that meets twice a month here in Jamestown, NY. also wanted to provide an outlet for information to be provided to the general public.
The group is lead by Nicole Mucheck, M.S.Ed. a behavior specialist and mental health counselor, offering support to those caregivers and their loved one’s with dementia. We offer not only information but a stigma free environment no matter your choice in care for you loved one. We supply activities, treats, and a relaxing atmosphere to share your concerns as well as memories with us.
Through this site it is our hope that we can spread awareness and information to others that are supporting those living with dementia.
Our supportive group of caregivers meets on te 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 2-3:30pm at Comfort Today on Gifford St. in Jamestown, NY. We welcome all to join!
